Discover the improvements we’ve added in each release to make Iurefficient a more powerful, intelligent, and secure tool for your professional practice.
v4.26.1 — More reliable deep research
Internet research brings back web results again. In certain cases — especially with long questions — the deep research feature failed silently and the assistant ended up replying *“since I don’t have Internet access…”*, when in fact it does. We fixed a chain of three causes: generating the search ran out of budget and sent a text that was too long (which the search engine rejected), the search engine didn’t retry on transient failures, and the final write-up used a model that wasn’t available. Now research builds a valid search, retries on transient errors, and writes the response with your instance’s AI provider. If something still fails, the message is clear (“temporary technical error, please try again”) instead of prompting it to say there’s no internet.
Internal improvements to the central legal knowledge base. We fine-tuned the generation of “embeddings” and the truncation of long queries so that searches against the centralized knowledge stop failing.
New legal instances come with the legal genres catalog. When a legal instance is created, the catalog of legal genre Blueprints (see v4.26.0) is now seeded automatically. Non-legal instances keep only the universal behavior, without that catalog.
No action is required on your part.
v4.26.0 — Legal genres: the AI drafts according to the type of document (legal instances)
The assistant recognizes which legal document you’re asking for and adapts. It identifies the legal genre among about 27 (complaint and its subtypes, answer, non-contentious proceedings, precautionary measures, appeal, indirect/direct amparo, stay, administrative and tax appeals, transparency, ARCO, IMPI, immigration, contract, NDA, amendment agreement, shareholders’ meeting minutes, power of attorney…) and adjusts the structure, tone, and sources accordingly.
Before drafting, it identifies the correct area of law and procedural route. It classifies the area of law and the procedural route (18 areas) and injects the right package of laws and primary sources, so it doesn’t cite legislation from another area. It also asks you to confirm the case’s minimum data; if an essential item is missing, it flags it with [PROFESSIONAL REVIEW] instead of making it up.
Each document family with its own format. Court filings (first person, “FIRST FACT,” dates written out in words, no emojis), contracts (clauses), corporate documents (minutes/power of attorney), and administrative filings (addressed to the authority, not to a judge). When it’s done, it checks suitability by genre and alerts you to anything missing (evidence, prayers for relief, economic core, quorum…).
25 ready-made templates (Blueprints), one for each common genre. They’re associated automatically when you ask for that type of document. An in-app help section (“Legal genres,” Spanish and English) and the manuals document the feature.
This feature only adds value in legal instances and is activated automatically; you don’t have to do anything.
