Discover the improvements we’ve added in each release to make Iurefficient a more powerful, smarter and more secure tool for your professional practice.
v4.35.3 — The external portal, tailored to each client
Your clients can now recover their password on their own. On the portal’s sign-in screen you’ll see “Forgot your password?”: the external user enters their email, receives a secure link (single-use, valid for 1 hour) and sets a new password without calling the firm. If their account was locked due to failed attempts, completing the reset unlocks it.
You decide what each external user sees and can do. On each portal user’s profile there’s a new “Portal permissions” card with three controls:
- Tasks — whether they see all tasks in the case, only those assigned to them, or none. And if you enable it, they can update the status and close date of THEIR tasks from the portal (“I already delivered the documents” → they mark their task as completed and the case owner is notified instantly).
- Documents — four levels: no access, view only (online viewer, no download button), view and download, or view, download and edit. Word/Excel/PowerPoint documents open in the platform’s online editor — the same co-editing session your team and shared links use, so they can work on the same document at the same time. PDFs and images display directly in the browser.
- Tickets — whether they see their tickets and, if you allow it, whether they can open tickets from the portal: they’re linked to their contact record, your team sees them in the tickets module like any other, and they receive replies by email.
No surprises for your current external users. Existing portal users keep exactly the same behavior as always until you configure something different for them.
Fix included: downloading documents from the portal delivered an unreadable file when the document was encrypted at rest; it now always downloads correctly.
When you update, the new portal tables are created automatically on startup. No action is required on your part.
v4.35.2 — Tax module: regimes aligned with the official SAT catalog
Tax regime codes now match the SAT catalog. The tax module offered “606 — Wages and Salaries” and “608 — Leasing,” but the official catalog (c_RegimenFiscal) defines 605 = Wages and Salaries and 606 = Leasing. It wasn’t just a label: taxpayers created automatically from your issued invoices carry the actual regime from the XML, so a genuine landlord was calculated as a salaried employee and an actual salaried employee couldn’t be calculated at all. The regime selectors in the tax module and in the CRM conversion wizard now show the correct catalog.
Your taxpayers fix themselves. When you update, taxpayers already entered are automatically remapped to the correct codes — keeping the true landlords detected through their own CFDIs.
No action is required on your part.
v4.35.1 — A single editor across the whole platform + a Tax Chat with memory
Tickets now use the same editor as your documents. The ticket description and comments introduced in 4.35.0 still used a two-pane markdown editor; they now use the platform’s rich text editor (the same one as in Documents): while editing you see tables and code already formatted, not the markdown source. Pasting screenshots works just the same (Ctrl+V), and there’s a bonus: if you paste markdown text from another tool —a |...| table, lists, code blocks— it’s instantly converted into real editor content.
The Tax Chat no longer forgets. In the tax module, the questions and answers from the AI chat are now saved per user: leave the page, come back tomorrow, and your conversation is still there (before, only the suggestions survived). When you want to start from scratch, the new clear-conversation button wipes the history without touching the suggestions.
When you update, the new tax module table is created automatically on startup. No action is required on your part.
v4.35.0 — Revamped tickets: markdown, kanban, history and requesters with an identity
Ticket notes are no longer a tiny box. The ticket detail now uses the full width of the browser, and the description and comments are written with the platform’s markdown editor: tables, code blocks, lists and live preview. Paste a complete technical diagnosis —with its table and its SQL— and it reads formatted, not as cramped text. On a phone or tablet everything rearranges into a single column, with scrollable tables.
The list opens showing what’s pending. No more going into the filter every time: by default you see active tickets (open, in progress, on hold), and an always-visible row of chips switches status with one click — including the “Reported by me” chip.
Kanban view. A third view mode with one column per status: drag the card from “Open” to “In Progress” and the ticket changes status instantly.
“Reported by” with first and last name. When entering who opened the ticket, search across your users, clients and contacts with an instant search box — and if the person doesn’t exist, create them as a contact without leaving the form. On the ticket, their name links to their record.
History and honest follow-up. Each ticket shows its status timeline: when it was created, who resolved it, when it was reopened and whether that was due to a comment or an incoming email.
Communication with whoever reported it. When you resolve or close a ticket —and on every public comment— the requester receives an automatic email; you no longer need tickets-by-email configured. You can also paste screenshots directly into comments (Ctrl+V) and use reply templates with the ticket data already filled in.
Tickets in the external portal. Your clients and contacts with portal access now see their own tickets with status, priority and follow-up — only public information, never internal notes.
When you update, the module’s new tables are created automatically on startup. No action is required on your part.
