v4.54.0 — Your usual forms, ready to reuse
* Project templates. Save any project as a template from its own record and bring it back whenever you want. The template saves the STRUCTURE —tasks, hierarchy, dependencies, and durations— but not the dates: when you create the new project you choose the start date and the entire plan recalculates itself, keeping the same shape. An audit that lasts six months still lasts six months, whether it starts in January or October. They’re managed in Settings and chosen when creating the project.
* Copy from another project, for real now. When starting from an existing project, you decide what comes along: tasks and dependencies, deadlines, the team with their roles, documents, and custom fields. Before, the deadlines checkbox did nothing and custom fields got lost along the way, even required ones.
* Forms open again. The firm’s Word, Excel, and PowerPoint forms threw an error when opened. They open now, and they can also be edited: text forms from the system editor and Office forms with the full editor. Until now, all you could do was rename them.
* System forms are now visible. The screen where you activate the forms we publish from Central only showed the ones that were already activated, so a new firm saw an empty list and had no way to activate any. Now they’re all shown, each with its toggle.
* Save a document as a form. Any document in the case file can be turned into a catalog form with a menu option. Before, it could only be done at upload time.
* Generate documents with AI, for the whole team. Structured templates (blueprints) were locked away in the administrator’s settings. Now any team member can generate a document from Documents, choosing the template from a list; creating and publishing them is still up to the administrator. In the chat, when the assistant suggests a template, you can change it before generating. * The task list no longer hides anything. A plan imported from MS Project with 342 tasks showed only 100, without saying so. Inside a project you see them all; in the overview there’s pagination with “Showing 1–100 of 342”.
* Filtering tasks by status works. When filtering by Pending, tasks with other statuses appeared —subtasks slipped through unfiltered— and, worse, tasks that did match the filter disappeared when their parent task didn’t. Both issues fixed.
* Move many tasks at once. Changing the parent task of more than 100 tasks failed. It now supports up to 1,000 in a single operation.
* The dashboard task card leads to what it counts. Clicking “Pending Tasks” opened a different list from the one behind the number shown. Update backend and frontend together. The migration runs automatically on startup.
