What’s new? v4.55 – Your improvement suggestions matter to us

v4.55.1 — Opening a contact works again, and the AI cites by name

* Clicking a contact no longer gives “page not found.” In the Contacts list, clicking any row led to an error; so did the “View contact” button on a CRM lead or opportunity, and the notice that appears when a duplicate contact is detected. The record existed and so did the contact: it was the link, which pointed to an address that doesn’t exist. It came to light in version 4.52.0, when clicking the row started working again on the computer: the click worked, but it led nowhere.

* The AI’s recommendation when you log in now cites by name. Below the “Daily summary,” the assistant’s advice referred to matters by their code — “PENA-2024-001” — while the summary above cited them by name. Now both speak the same way: the matter’s name, as a link to open it. And the tasks it mentions are also links, so you can jump straight to the one that needs attention. Includes everything from 4.55.0. No database changes. Update backend and frontend together.

v4.55.0 — Your suggestions reach the people who can act on them This release doesn’t change anything you see today.

It installs the foundation of a cycle that is activated firm by firm, and that remains OFF until it’s expressly turned on. * What you ask for in conversation no longer gets lost. When a “this should…,” “it’s missing the ability to…,” or “it would be useful if…” comes up in the chat with the AI, the system recognizes it as a suggestion about the SOFTWARE and forwards it to those of us who develop it, as an actionable request. Until now, those phrases stayed in the conversation and got lost there.

* And we let you know when it’s done. If your suggestion is implemented, you receive a notice inside the system: “Your suggestion was implemented in version X.” Only at that moment — you’re not notified when it’s detected, so you aren’t bothered with an acknowledgment for every phrase.

* Only what was requested is sent, never your case file. What leaves your instance is a written summary of the improvement, with no names, no clients, no amounts, and no case file numbers; your original message NEVER leaves. Neither your name nor your email travels: the request is identified as “firm · role.” Your firm’s administrator can check the exact list of what was sent at any time. * A suggestion is told apart from your work. “The contract should include a confidentiality clause” is work on your case file, not a request to the software, and the system doesn’t treat it as one. Only phrases that talk about the software are recorded. There are also caps: the same topic isn’t recorded twice, and there’s a daily maximum per person. * None of this turns on by itself. Each firm is activated separately from central administration, and it starts off. Until it’s activated, the system behaves exactly the same as in the previous release. Update backend and frontend together. Migrations run automatically on startup.
