Discover the improvements we’ve built into each release to make Iurefficient a more powerful, intelligent, and secure tool for your professional practice.
v4.69.0 — The project is in charge of its assistant
Until now the assistant responded the same way in all your projects. How it reasoned depended on what each person had configured in their browser, so your firm couldn’t say “in this project, respond like a litigator.” The project had no say. Now each project sets how its assistant responds, and that instruction carries more weight than the personal preference of whoever is asking.
It also decides what the assistant can see. A project manager needs to see their project; a director, quite a bit more. The scope is now declared: this project only, a hand-picked portfolio of projects, or the entire organization.
Risks, the baseline, and change orders now travel with every answer. They’ve existed as data since 4.58 and 4.59, but they only reached the assistant if its search happened to stumble upon the right fragment: a project with three declared risks could answer “the risks section is empty.” A governance data point that shows up or not depending on how the question is worded is useless for managing.
A task with no owner no longer stays silent. As long as no one is assigned, responsibility lies with whoever runs the project — and that wasn’t enforced anywhere: a task with no one on it, even fifty days overdue, alerted no one. Now it does, one alert per project per day with the count, the overdue ones, and the most urgent one, not one per task. If the project has no manager, no one is alerted: picking the creator would mean attributing to someone something no one gave them.
The assistant keeps an eye on the rules it cites, not just the dates. An article or a precedent with an air of authority is exactly what nobody verifies. Now the ones cited without a source are flagged.
And it answers questions about the sales pipeline —coverage, conversion by stage, cycle, average deal size, and stalled opportunities—, respecting each person’s portfolio scope: a salesperson sees their own, a manager sees their team’s.
PDF operations work again. Compressing, merging, splitting, extracting pages, rotating, protecting, or watermarking failed with “Invalid PDF” on any document stored encrypted, which is practically all of them.
Includes two database changes that run automatically on startup. Updating doesn’t turn anything on: the persona, the scope, and the doctrine sources are declared manually. Update backend and frontend together.
